D3 development

At the heart of the flexibility of C_wiz is the D3 (data device driver) architecture.

See D3 Library and SDK for more information on the concept.

We actively encourage the development of D3s for any type of data device likely to be found on the classes of vessel owned by our natural customer set.

Current examples include the Bosch Rexroth MAREX OS throttle /gearbox control units and all embedded engine data control units.

Such development can be by third parties or ourselves.

We will consider doing the development ourselves providing we are given:

o An adequate business justification.

o Complete details of the data device's messaging protocol.

o Satisfactory access to a test environment.
